Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) Seeking a team-oriented psychotherapist to join our small private practice for 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule. You will be working with children, youth, and adults using a psychodynamic approach that includes elements of play therapy, trauma-informed approaches, and a developmental approach to self-regulation. Materials, professional development, and clinical supervision will be provided. This is a 52-week contract position.
Description • Providing play-based therapy for children • Providing psychodynamic (developmental) psychotherapy for youth and adults • Developing skills and expertise in the practical application of psychotherapeutic techniques • Maintaining accurate and timely professional clinical records • Developing and delivering group therapy for children and youth
Requirements Active registration as a Registered Psychotherapist (independent practice) with CRPO Current liability insurance (required as part of CRPO registration Experience supporting child and youth development, mental health, and wellness Experience supporting adults with mental health and wellness Assets Experience supporting the LGBTQIA2+ community Familiarity with DIRFloortime and/or other developmental frameworks Experience providing group services for children and youth Experience providing workshops or training for caregivers

Play Therapist Seeking a therapist to join our small private practice (hourly or salary may be available) with a flexible schedule that you can be part of determining. You will use a variety of techniques to support the social-emotional development of children through a developmental, individual-difference, relationship-based (DIR) approach. Therapy provided may be individual, dyad, or group delivery. Requirements A degree or diploma in a child development relevant field, such as psychology, sociology, ECE, CYC. Experience supporting child and youth development, mental health, and wellness Assets Familiarity and/or certification in DIRFloortime or other developmental frameworks Experience providing group services for children and youth Experience providing workshops or training for caregivers Experience supporting neurodiverse and LGBTQIA2+ communities Early Childhood Educators There may be future opportunities for RECEs to run and support larger groups and programs.
